Wig: Outre Synthetic Lace Front Wig L Part Batik Peruvian Bundle Hair
Colour: S4/30
Curly Wurly
I absolutely love big bouncy curls and I have been dying to go curly for a while now. I actually bought a blonde curly wig from AliExpress a few months ago and while it looked fabulous in pictures it was way too big in person! I couldn’t wear it out. I wanted to find something that looked natural without breaking bank. Outre’s Batik Peruvian Bundle Hair Wig is almost the perfect curly wurly wig!
First impressions…
I ordered the wig from sistawigs.com. It came to $28.74 (Wig=$22.99, Shipping within US=$8.05, Coupon Code=Nicole which took 10% off). Overall that’s not a bad price.
Above are the contents of the wig shipment. Sistawigs send out a free wig cap with their wigs, which is good as my current one has holes in it…
So the first things that I notice when I put the wig on are:
In my opinion the length of the hair made it look like it wasn’t mine. Come on we don’t wear wigs because we want them to look wiggy. The hair texture and colour was so realistic but I had to pull my scissors out and give it a cut.
As you can see I cut a fair bit off this wig. First I just went straight across with the scissors and then I took it off put it on my idea of a wig head (a large shampoo bottle at the end of a table…my usual styrofoam wig head is in England) and then cut some layers into it so the hair didn’t look so heavy.
Realistic or nah?
Outre’s Batik Peruvian Bundle Hair Wig has a fantastic deep part. Above is a picture of it before I’ve done anything to it. No plucking and no powder. I love the ample parting space, and think the wig looks great worn with the part (and with powder), but I do prefer to flip the hair over so there’s no part at all. I still need to work out just the right amount of ‘flip’ so that I don’t have to have my neck crooked though…haha.
I’m a big fan of the colour 4. It’s a great deep chocolate brown that I think works really well with my skin tone especially in the winter time when I’m a bit paler. Coupled with the 30, in the S4/30, the depth of colour in the wig is fantastic and looks so natural.
The wig holds well without any combs but there are three in there if you want to use them. Also I should mention that this wig is big head friendly! I have a bit of a large coconut and it fits comfortably with my hair braided underneath.
All in all…
This is a fantastic wig once you’ve done a bit of work to do. Give it a good trim, powder the part or flip it over and you’ve got a great new look. The hair texture and colour is super natural and you are bound to turn a few heads.

I love Day of the dead makeup looks and was amazed that I had all of the bits to do this one already in my makeup bag!
You’ll need:
Step 1: powder your face
Step 2: draw the circles around your eyes using your coloured eye pencil and fill in using your choice of eyeshadow. I used a green eye pencil and green eyeliner because I was transforming from my poison ivy makeup look
Step 3: use your liquid eye liner to draw mini rings around the green circles
Step 4: use another coloured pencil to draw swirls or another pattern on your forehead
Step 5: fill in the mini rings with your eyeshadow colour choice (I used purple)
Step 6: use your eye liner to colour in a triangle shape on your nose and draw lines on your cheeks and mouths to make it seem as if it has been sewn shut.
This is the last part of my easy halloween make-up looks! Make sure you check out my leopard and poison ivy looks! Happy Halloween!!!
OK…so you can do this look with your usual green eyeshadow and purple lipstick but I highly recommend Soap and Glory’s Crazy Sexy Kohl Kit and Mac lipstick in Heroine to really make this look pop.
You’ll need:
Step 1: apply your foundation
Step 2: really accentuate your cheekbones when you contour. I contoured and then applied bronzer on top so it was extra dark
Step 3: I applied my lipstick (It’s a habit whereby I like to have my lips done before my eyes…)
Step 4: (my favourite part) colour your eyebrows in with green pencil
Step 5: apply your green eyeshadow (all the way up to your brows), line your eyes (in black) and apply your false lashes
Step 6: use your eyelash glue to strategically stick the leaves to your face and body.
Take a look at my easy leopard halloween makeup look and stay tuned for my day of the dead post coming very soon!
Oh and here’s some of the bits that I used to create this look:
I don’t know about you but I love Halloween! I also love super easy halloween looks that don’t cost me a bomb. In this three-part series I’m going to go through easy makeup ideas that you can create using items that you’ll probably already have in your make-up bag!
First look: The Lurvely Leopard
A classic animal look
You’ll need:
Step 1: apply your foundation and contour
Step 2: apply the shimmer powder all over your face
Step 3: sort your brows out
Step 4: apply your gold and brown eyeshadow and then line your eyes (you can pop your false lashes on here)
Step 5: draw a heart on your nose, fill in your top lip with a black eyeliner and draw on your whiskers
Step 6: decide where you want your leopard spots and draw them by using your eyeliner to make wavy C and O shapes. Once you have the black sorted use your gold eyeshadow to fill in the spots.
RAW! You’re all done!
And in case you were wondering what was in my bag…
Stay tuned for Poison Ivy and Day of the Dead looks!
I love a matching two-piece and this little stunner from Luxemme was the perfect edition to my collection before Autumn came and swept over England.
Outfit: Limited Edition: Alayna Floral Contrast Two Piece from Luxemme*
Price: £35.00
Size: 10 (though the label says M)
Delivery: £3.95 (standard)
From the moment my parcel arrived I knew that I was in for a treat. Luxemme’s clothes arrive wrapped in black tissue paper with a hand addressed envelope containing the invoice. It’s this kind of small but personal touch that I love when ordering from an online boutique rather than a huge online retailer.
This two-piece is beautiful, and from the moment I saw it on their instagram I knew that I had to have it. It has a unique floral pattern and is made from a lightweight fabric that is perfect for the warmer months. Whilst I wish the weather in England was warm enough for me to get a few more wears from it Luxemme have some lovely looking jackets online at the moment that seem perfect for the Autumn chill.
If you haven’t already make sure you check out Luxemme on instagram, twitter and Facebook!

Dress: Thalia Cross Neck Halter Dress from Luxemme*
Size: 12
Fit: I’m a 34DD and it was a little loose on the top but it was nothing that a little tit tape wouldn’t fix.
Hey girlies! I stumbled across a company called Luxemme a luxury fashion brand based in Manchester. They have so many lovely pieces on their website from dresses, to two-pieces, blazers and more. I had a hard time picking just one dress to treat myself with this week. There are so many other bits that I am in LOVE with and will be ordering very soon! I was so pleased with the delivery – the dress arrived two days after I received my order confirmation and just in time for date night with the boy (who also loved the dress).
What do you think of my Luxemme date night dress?

I’m enjoying what’s left of summer with this summery nail combo. I’m loving mid-finger rings coupled with bright nail colours – it looks fab! I picked these rings up from eBay for just £1.99 which was such a bargain and then painted my nails with OPI’s That’s Hula-rious.
What do you think? Have you been rocking mid-finger rings this summer?

Dress: ‘Faila’ Lace Off Shoulder Midi Dress from Boutique of Molly* £26.95
Size: 10
Fit: True to size
While browsing Boutique of Molly* I instantly fell in love with this dress. I’ve been looking for a black bardot dress for some time now and when I saw this on their website I knew that I had to have it. As you can see from the black and white it has brought out my inner femme fatale. The lace trimming around the neckline makes this a unique version to other bardot dress that I’ve seen, and it has a sexy split up the side.
Find Boutique of Molly on IG and Twitter.
